Electrical Contracting and Design Build Experience

In a new era of Canadian construction, Accel’s electrical contracting, design build and engineering teams have shaped southern Ontario infrastructure across many sectors.

Our design build projects range from the award-winning Sheridan College Hazel McCallion Campus (II) to GO Transit facilities in Brampton, Hamilton and Halton Hills, to flex-industrial campuses bringing new production opportunities to growing cities and towns across the province.

In the healthcare sector, Accel proudly participated in the massive, multi-phase renewal and expansion of Barrie’s Royal Victoria Hospital, as well as the construction of the 200,000 square-foot Wellness Centre at the Etobicoke General Hospital in Toronto.

Mohawk College, Accel Electrical ContractorsIn our postsecondary education stream, Accel holds award-winning projects in our portfolio, including the McEwen School of Architecture at Laurentian University, the Sadlon Centre for Health and Wellness at Georgian College, and L.R. Wilson Hall at McMaster University, among many others.

The company also holds a strong background in large-scale industrial and flex-industrial buildings, police stations, and multi-use recreational centres. Easily adapting to various architectures, Accel has also been selected for large-scale retail and gaming projects, including the Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills and the OLG Slots at Casino Ajax.

Finally, Accel Electrical is proud to play an important role in building sustainable infrastructure across Ontario. Our experience in energy efficient design and construction has powered many LEED-certified buildings across Ontario, including the Vaughan Civic Centre, Williams Parkway Operational Centre (Phase I and II), and the Mohawk College Student Recreation Centre — all LEED-Gold projects.

Approaching our 40th anniversary, Accel celebrates the next generation of the company — and our role in the next generation of Canadian construction.
