About the Project
The expansion of the existing Georgetown arena sees the addition of two NHL-sized ice rinks and 10 new dressing rooms and referee rooms. In this modern retrofit, the space becomes fully accessible and energy efficient, incorporating 2,000 solar panels towards the generation of renewable energy. The complex also hosts charging stations for electrical vehicles, occupancy sensors to reduce overall electrical consumption, and a roof de-icing/snow melting system.
