About the Project

A prestigious new addition to the McMaster University Campus, the 150,000 square-foot L.R. Wilson Hall is a truly unique multi-purpose building. The five-storey new-build  features a 400-seat lecture, 150-seat black box theatre, and a 350-seat concert hall. Advanced learning spaces for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science include a research centre, data lab, and centre for health and aging.

Public community spaces, outdoor gardens and other high-impact architectures create a new landmark on the campus. Designed to include charging stations for electric vehicles and other sustainable engineering, the project received LEED Gold distinction.
